Hello friends 🙂 The laundry room is coming along and I’m excited to show you the latest project!
To add a little fun and whimsy to the room I decided to add this cool word art. I didn’t want to make the words too bold and steal the show from the shutters, so I painted them the same color as my walls. It almost looks like the letters are 3-dimensionally sticking out of the wall. Such a cool effect! I got letters in various sizes and styles from JoAnns and Michaels. It was fun to mix it up a little!
This is a fun and easy project that anyone can do in any room in their home. To hang the letters I just used the Command picture hanging strips again (LOVE these things!) No damage to your walls and easy to hang up!
More fun laundry room projects are on the way so check back soon!
SO cute MarKay! Love that the letters are all different sizes and styles … what a fun way to add some interest!
PS. I’ll be featuring these with my favorite things from the week this Friday morning 🙂
Thanks Kristi! Can’t wait to see it on there 🙂
I love your words (Wash & Dry) they look great and the shutters are adorable! I need to re-do my laundry room. Great inspiration! Have a lovely weekend, Kim
Love your laundry room… very nicely done!
I love this and the color of the shutters. Can you tell me what color teal and grey you used. Thanks!
I don’t have a window in my laundry room, but seeing this gave me an idea: a rather large poster of peaceful scenery, framed inexpensively, then paint old shutters and put on either side. Could even put a little valance above!
What are the names of the paint colors you used?
