I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Mine started out not so great with a cold/sore throat but I still managed to squeeze in my favorite project to date… my coffee table makeover!
All you need is a vase (I used a glass milk bottle), some scissors, Mod Podge and some gold paper (I found mine at Michaels for $1.99)
I cut a 2 inch strip out of my gold paper. I love the diamond pattern and how the light catches it at different angles
Wrap your strip of paper around your vase to see how wide you need to make it. Then just mark and cut.
The last step is applying a thin layer of Mod Podge on the back of your strip making sure to cover the entire area so there aren’t any gaps or bubbles when you apply it.
And that’s all there is to it! I love the little bit of sparkle and shine that it adds
